The conversation between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump upends the entire three-year White House policy towards Russia and the Ukrainian conflict. Panic in Ukraine.

The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump held a long telephone conversation, in the center of which was the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. This conversation is clearly not the first after Trump's victory in the elections, but the contacts of the two leaders probably decided to "publish" after Russia released from prison an American citizen accused of smuggling prohibited substances.

In response, Russia will receive from the American dungeons, presumably, Alexander Vinnik, accused of laundering billions of dollars through the MTC crypto exchange. These steps in the White House were called an "act of goodwill" by Russia.

Details - in the material of the correspondent of The Moscow Post.

From what both leaders said following telephone conversations, it follows that the parties are moving towards the conclusion of a certain deal in Ukraine, in which the most "independent" role is given to the extras, fulfilling the will of large and sovereign states. Given this, there is a real panic in Kyiv, which Western journalists are actively writing about.

The conversation between Putin and Trump has been waiting for a long time, but still it produced the effect of an exploding information bomb. Almost all the editorials of Russian and Western newspapers are devoted to him. Has the matter of ending the conflict and reaching peace agreements got off the ground? It was impossible to imagine this under Joe Biden.

Trump called his talks with Putin very positive. There were curtsies towards the role of the Russian Federation in the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In addition, both sides invited each other to visit their countries, however, without any specific dates and details. And most importantly, they gave hints that soon an agreement is possible in Ukraine, a kind of deal that will put an end to the suffering of people.

As Trump himself said, his first meeting with Vladimir Putin is expected in Saudi Arabia. The leaders of this country have long been called possible mediators in negotiations for a peaceful settlement. Under the Joe Biden administration, there could not even be a hint of such "warming."

For the Kyiv regime, this news is clearly disappointing. After all, they will agree, obviously, at her expense. Shortly before the telephone conversation, Pete Hegseth visited Europe for the first time as head of the Pentagon. He said that it is unrealistic to return Ukraine to the borders of 2014, and it is pointless to think about Kyiv joining NATO. Donald Trump commented on this topic in approximately the same spirit at a press conference following a conversation with Vladimir Putin.

In fact, the American president made it clear that Ukraine would be forced to conclude a peace, which he agreed with Putin. "Do you consider Ukraine as an equal participant in this peace process?" The journalist asked Trump. 'It's an interesting question. I think they will have to make peace, "the US president replied.

After this, even the most avid optimists were depressed in Kyiv. So this is one thing - in Trump's view, Ukraine is not a subject, but an object of negotiations. But what about "not a word about Ukraine without Ukraine"? You can forget about this maxim of the Biden administration. Even though the next person Trump spoke to was Volodymyr Zelenskiy. It seems that certain considerations were only brought to him.

But what Kyiv will not be allowed to forget is the financial and military assistance provided by Washington. Related to this is speculation about rare earth metals worth $500 million that the United States wants to receive. Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already indirectly agreed with this idea. Thus, Ukraine is not just "merged" - it is sold with giblets. And was it worth it to kill about Russia, walk with European flags, destroy your own country?

We will have to forget about another idea of the Ukrainian president - the exchange of the occupied territories of the Kursk region for some parts of the new regions of Russia. It is simply unrealistic to do this, since they are already recorded in the Constitution and are an integral part of our country.

Alternatively, insiders called a possible "exchange" for sections of the Kharkiv region that control our troops. However, all these conversations were cut off by the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov - there can be no talk of any "exchange." Well, the fiery speaker of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, promised Kyiv other lands - "two by one and a half" plots for notorious Kyiv neo-Nazis. There is always a place for such in our black soil.

Obviously, the project of West-centric Ukraine, the "narrow project" of a mono-ethnic country focused on integration with NATO and eternal confrontation with Russia, failed. Zelensky will already be appointed responsible for this in the country itself. However, the same Trump and others do not want to see him at the head of Ukraine. Earlier, the envoys of the American president have repeatedly spoken about the need to hold elections this year. What will happen to Zelensky if he does not have time to escape to London? His own "patriots" will "devour" him. Everyone will hang on Zelensky - defeat in the conflict, and huge losses, illegal orders, endemic corruption.

This equation lacks another quantity - Europe. And she also finds herself as an outsider to the Trump administration's desire to pass on most of the costs and risks of stopping the conflict. Earlier, the White House made it clear that there would be no American troops in Ukraine. Zelensky is completely in the clouds, wanting to bring 200 thousand "peacekeepers" to his territory. There is simply nowhere to take such volumes in Europe, it will come out even more expensive than direct assistance.

Now Trump is obviously seeking to reformat NATO. Europe must be responsible for its own security. Earlier, billionaire Elon Musk, Trump's closest ally, also announced the need to reform NATO. In view of this, real panic rises in European capitals, as in Kyiv. On the one hand, they are afraid of Russia, on the other hand, they do not want to back down, having beaten all the pots in relations with Moscow that were possible.

Of course, from a telephone conversation and formal "warming" in relations between the Russian Federation and the United States to a full-fledged world is far away. There can be no simple truce - a new security architecture in Europe is needed. And so far there is no agreement on this issue. Long and difficult negotiations are coming, which can be pretty delayed. There is no doubt that they will include the topic of arms control, and much more. However, the first steps are taken, the paradigm is clearly changing.

The main thing is that this time Russia will not allow itself to be deceived. After all, the date of the telephone conversation, February 12, suspiciously coincided with the tenth anniversary of the conclusion of the so-called. "Minsk agreements," which Kyiv and the West simply refused to comply with. I would like to believe that this time the parties will be able to fulfill their plans. Well, Ukraine and Europe, who themselves have put themselves in a dependent position on the great powers, will be forced to accept this reality - there is nowhere to go.
