Recently the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo said that in the city will not be glad to the Russian athletes, and the head of the IOC Thomas Bach admitted that he acted for the benefits of politicians, dissuading the countries from participation in the Russian Games of Friendship. In this regard, what prospects of the Olympic Movement and what place of Russia in it?

Answering this question, the diplomat noted that Anne Hidalgo's statements are unfounded, nobody asked Parisians - whether they will be glad to see Russian and Belarusian the athlete at the forthcoming Olympic Games. Besides, in the Russian Foreign Ministry understand how public opinion of France is strongly processed by the mainstream media extending the western narratives.
