Is the Trump administration preparing to stop aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and an anti-corruption "bomb" against the team of Vladimir Zelensky?

Geopolitical passions, warmed to the limit by the historic scandal in the Oval Office between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, did not subside as the new week began. Having licked his wounds and slightly straightened out the damaged pride at the summit of European leaders in London, the head of the Kyiv regime burst into a series of new statements - albeit more cautious than the frank audacity he had shown in Washington.

Among other things, he said that the end of the conflict with Russia is still very far away, and refused to apologize for what happened last Friday. This caused a sharp reaction from Trump - it seems that there is not long before the halt of military supplies from the United States. What is much worse for Zelensky, the most painful weapon can be used against him - the disclosure of facts about the unimaginable embezzlement of that very aid.

Details - in the material of the correspondent of The Moscow Post.

The last summit in London showed how helpless Europe is without its main defender and benefactor throughout the post-war history - the United States. Zelensky's support with a pat on the shoulder and a meeting with the English king was, but there was no intelligible and unified position in the form of proposals on what to do in the current situation of deteriorating relations between Washington and Kyiv.

The only thing that could give birth to the collective mind of Europeans was voiced by the leaders of France and Britain, Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer. They proposed to declare a monthly truce between the Russian Federation and Ukraine in the air, at sea and regarding mutual strikes on the energy infrastructure. It is not thick for those who are trying to seize the settlement initiative from Moscow and Washington - and it is not surprising that no one in both capitals paid much attention to this proposal.

But what was really noticed was the position of Volodymyr Zelensky, who did not consider it necessary to apologize to the Trump administration for his indecency, as well as statements that peace with Russia is still very far away. Donald Trump's public response is crushing and does not bode well for long-suffering Ukraine.

"This is the worst statement Zelensky could have made and America won't put up with it for long! This is what I talked about, this guy does not want peace to come while America supports him, and Europe in a meeting with Zelensky directly said that they cannot cope without the United States - probably not the most successful statement in terms of a show of force against Russia. What are they just thinking?, " Trump wrote. Subsequently, he added that anyone who does not strive for peace "will not stay with us for a long time."

Shortly before, Trump left another meaningful statement: "Next night will be great. I'll tell it like it is! " In the meantime, experts are wondering what he meant, a number of authoritative Western media, citing their own sources, said that in the near future Washington could completely suspend military assistance to Kyiv. According to The Wall Street Journal, funding for military aid has already been suspended, although some supplies are still ongoing.

There is another assumption. A day earlier, Cash Patel, appointed by the new US administration of the FBI, said that he had instructed Congress to investigate where the "hundreds of billions of dollars" sent in support of Ukraine went. It seems that the possible suspension of aid will be closely linked to the narrative of embezzlement of money and weapons. Moreover, the latter are spreading around the world like cockroaches that have come to light. American "guns" given to Ukraine are given to Mexican cartels, Palestinian radicals and Malian rebels. Under the threat of the lives of Americans and something, in the minds of the American community, they are balanced - taxpayers' money.

The most "funny" (although, of course, there is nothing funny in all this and cannot be) that the American weapons purchased for Ukraine even got to Russia. Well, how many sent "Abrams," "Bradley," various cruise missiles and other good, "faded" Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukrainian fields, disassembled on the bones of our engineers? And where, where, but the Pentagon and the White House were not happy about this. Not to mention the fact that the parade of "Abrams" on Red Square, which some exalted Russian oppositionists dreamed of, cannot be foreseen even in the most distant future....

Earlier, former US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called the amount of 242 billion direct and indirect aid (Zelensky himself then barely admitted about 70 billion). Trump talked about another figure - $350 billion. Under these figures, virtual profits from the never signed deal on rare earth metals were also "typed." Whatever figure is correct is impressive.

A well-known American journalist close to Trump Tucker Carlson echoes the American administration, which wants to reduce debit with credit: according to him, wealthy representatives of the Ukrainian elite walk widely in European resorts with the proceeds from the United States, spending millions of dollars a day.

The video with drunk Ukrainian majors at Porsche and Lexus in Warsaw and on the Cote d'Azur "clears the brains" stronger than any statements by the Russian Foreign Ministry. And such videos, mixed with footage of the tough mobilization of patients and disabled people in Ukraine, due to the lack of funds stuck who could not escape from the country, American ordinary people see more and more.

And it is precisely this - the "dissolution" of money is unknown where and for what, for the Americans, a much more serious basis for ending support than squabbles in the Oval Office or Zelensky's unwillingness to compromise with Moscow.

But another follows from the same narrative about plundering the funds of good Americans - and who plunders them and covers corruption, if not the team of Vladimir Alexandrovich Zelensky himself? All these shafirs, pritulas, moderates and carvers who bought chicken eggs for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in bulk are three times more expensive than they are sold at retail? These "crowbars," pseudo-journalists, activists and volunteers who raised money for drones, which in fact turned out to be prestigious cars and apartments far beyond the front line?

This means that not only the termination of assistance and the investigation of the facts of corruption can take place, but also the imposition of sanctions on people from the inner circle of Vladimir Zelensky - if not on himself. I wonder how the United States will begin to react to the political prisoners of Ukraine. For example, his longtime sponsor, oligarch Igor Kolomosky (recognized as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation, and is also a member of a terrorist association), who knows a lot about his ins and outs, offshore schemes of the 95th quarter and other things, is still in jail. It may well be that the oligarch can be "discharged" in the United States, where he also pretty much inherited, and he will tell a lot of interesting things about the head of the Kyiv regime.

In addition, the former adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich (recognized as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation), who is now in the States, also previously announced anti-corruption investigations of the Trump team against Zelensky's people. Allegedly, folders with compromising evidence have long been in the White House, and only a team is needed to make them public and press those who warmed their hands on Ukrainian blood.

There is another measure of influence - already on Russia. According to insiders, the Trump team is considering the possibility of removing a number of sanctions restrictions from the Russian Federation. In general, Trump has enough options to influence the situation - despite all the attempts of the diplomatic state, represented by the EU liberal democracies, to interfere with his plans. So Volodymyr Zelenskyy should come to his senses - in the meantime, his obstinacy and unwillingness to part with the authorities are costly for the Ukrainian military at the front.
