XI Moscow Conference on International Security, as a continuation of the 2007 Munich Conference process.

The event was attended by more than 800 delegates from 76 countries and six international organizations, including 26 defense ministers, 16 deputy defense ministers and chiefs of general staff from different countries, The Moscow Post reports.

And everything began in Munich

It started with a security conference in Munich in 2007. It seems that the process then launched by Russian President Vladimir Putin made a "full circle" in the days of the Moscow Conference. Some interim results of the past years indicate steep changes.

The world is divided and continues to drift not only towards multipolarity. In the relationship of the growing "poles" there were signs of consolidation. An anti-Western military-political coalition is being formed. At the same time, some APR states joined the western camp. This, firstly.

Secondly, America, as the leader of this camp, is experiencing an internal split and crisis of the political system. In international affairs, the United States has become more dangerous than before. The Washington elite acts by inertia, ignoring changes in the world and their problems, engaging in self-destruction and being aggressive.

Thirdly, the West has lost its negotiability. The reputation of the United States on such sites as strategic dialogue and control of strategic weapons is spoiled, up to the point of no return.

On the other side of the West, "most states are ready to defend their sovereignty and national interests, traditions, culture and way of life. New economic and political centers are strengthening, "Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his video message to the participants and guests of the Moscow conference.

The West no longer dominates

The world, however, remains full of geopolitical adventures. During the meetings of the Moscow Conference, they talked a lot about the fact that new conflicts are provoked in different regions of the world and old ones are inflated. NATO countries are increasing their military potential and are trying to transfer the confrontation to space and information space. Under these conditions, the Russian SAO in Ukraine reduced the ability of the West to impose its interests in various regions of the world, increased the role of the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America.

The dominance of the collective West in the military sphere remains in the past.

Against the background of the special operation, Russia in a short time increased the production of missile and artillery weapons, tanks and other armored vehicles. Russian unmanned aircraft have established themselves as the most important means of reconnaissance and fire destruction of enemy forces. The same can be said for electronic warfare against drones and cruise missiles.

"There is nothing invulnerable to Russian weapons on the battlefield today, in many cases Western equipment is inferior even to Soviet," Shoigu said. The myth of the superiority of Western military standards has also been debunked. The Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot achieve results, despite the comprehensive assistance of the West, which in Ukraine itself is working out various options for conducting hostilities.

Today, Russia is opposed not only by the armed forces of Ukraine, but by the entire collective West. But, despite the comprehensive NATO assistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there are no results, "the preliminary results of the hostilities show that Ukraine's military resource is almost exhausted," Sergei Shoigu said.

2 + 2 + 1 Coalition

The conversation also talked about the fact that the United States continues to foment the conflict in Ukraine with arms supplies, is trying to reformat the system of interstate relations in the Asia-Pacific region (APR) under its strategic interests, create new military-political blocs, destroy arms control mechanisms and the non-proliferation regime.

"The promotion of the so-called Indo-Pacific strategies, in fact, is aimed at creating military-political associations controlled by Washington," the Russian leader said. The United States is working to integrate the forces of the NATO alliance with the military alliance of Australia, Great Britain and the United States (AUKUS), with the possible connection of Japan and South Korea to it.

Opponents of Russia and China, Belarus and the DPRK, as well as Iran, have created conditions that prompt retaliatory actions through military-technical cooperation, joint exercises and activities on land and sea, in air and information spaces.

Ties are being strengthened through the military departments of these states. A network of ties is being formed in which Moscow and Minsk oppose the NATO alliance in Europe. In the Far East and the Asia-Pacific region, China interacts with Russia and the DPRK in the face of threats from alliances under US control. In the south of Eurasia, Iran is ready to increase military-technical cooperation with Russia. A security coalition is formed in the format "2 + 2 + 1."

Reciprocal Integration and New Balance Sheet

A group of states consisting of Russia and Belarus, China and North Korea, as well as Iran, can claim a leading place in the balance of power within Greater Eurasia and the Asia-Pacific region. According to Sergei Shoigu, "it so happened that the role of the locomotive in promoting the interests of most independent states has again taken Russia away."

Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus Lieutenant-General Viktor Khrenin stressed in his speech that "one should not be surprised why the Republic of Belarus is an active participant in the integration processes within the framework of the CSTO and the CIS, strives for the SCO and BRICS.... the integration efforts we are making are breaking Western plans. " In particular, Minsk considers the return of tactical nuclear weapons to the territory of Belarus as an effective factor in strategic deterrence.

Member of the State Council - Minister of Defense of the People's Republic of China Colonel-General Li Shangfu, saying about the "new round of instability and transformation" in the world, said that "to restrain and suppress other countries - not only do not comply with the laws of economic development, but also drain the trust of the people."

Speaking about the "Taiwan issue," he called it an internal affair of China. He said that an attempt to use the Taiwan issue to deter China is doomed to failure. Li Shangfu noted that the Chinese Armed Forces is a firm force in maintaining peace on the planet. "We," he said, "are ready to deepen comprehensive practical cooperation with the armed forces of the countries of the world and jointly implement the Global Security Initiative."

He confirmed that the Sino-Russian relations of comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction, entering a new era, continue to develop progressively, set an example of abandoning alliance, antagonism and non-orientation to third countries. "We are also ready, as before, to speed up security work within the SCO, to actively deepen cooperation in the field of defense with the new member Iran and Belarus, which is joining the SCO.... [develop] practical cooperation in relevant areas. The Chinese side is ready to further deepen cooperation in the fields of high technology, weapons and military equipment, "Li Shangfu said.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and DPRK leader Kim Jong-un previously discussed the development of tactical and strategic cooperation between North Korea and Russia in the field of defense security. During the conversation, the parties discussed in detail the issues arising in the development of "tactical-strategic assistance and cooperation between the two states in the field of defense security."

North Korean Defense Minister Kang Sun Nam said that the nuclear war on the Korean peninsula has become no longer a matter of probability, but who and when will begin it. "The mania of nuclear war on the part of the United States and puppets in the Republic of Korea is turning the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia into a new hotbed of nuclear war," he said in his address to the conference participants.

Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzade and Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexander Fomin held talks on military-technical cooperation on the sidelines of the Moscow Conference. "The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation. An exchange of views on regional security and the international situation took place, "the Russian Defense Ministry said.
