On the eve of February 28, negotiations between Russia and Ukraine ended. The parties did not agree on a ceasefire, but outlined points on which it is possible to reach an understanding. Now the delegations have returned to the capitals for consultations, it is expected that a new round of negotiations will be held in the coming days on the Belarusian-Polish border.

The LPR reported receiving control over another 15 settlements. At the same time, shelling of civilians in the DPR and LPR by Ukrainian nationalist groups continues.
