Zakharova commented on the activities of American mercenaries in the ranks of Kyiv militants

The Moscow Post correspondent had one question that concerned American intelligence.

Namely, US intelligence, weapons and American PMCs, the participation of American rangers in the operation became part of the essentially terrorist attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. How could you summarize the results of the discussions of these issues in the UN Security Council?

Mari Zakharova said that Russia has repeatedly raised the issue of Kyiv's Kursk adventure during meetings of the Security Council. It was emphasized that Western weapons, intelligence and mercenaries were used to carry out the attack.

No matter how camouflaged it is and no matter what legends are invented, the involvement of the West is obvious, she added.

"Irrefutable facts were brought to the court of the world community. For example, the obituaries of high-ranking NATO officers who allegedly died suddenly, but in fact were eliminated during the retaliatory strikes of the Russian armed forces, "said Maria Zakharova.

In addition, evidence was published that every day dozens and hundreds of foreigners are destroyed, taken prisoner, and also appear on video recordings among the Ukrainian military.

Attention was drawn to Zelensky's decree, according to which foreign citizens and stateless persons are allowed to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in command positions. It was also noted that the escalation was facilitated by attacks by American ATACMS missiles and HIMARS systems, as well as British Storm Shadow on military facilities in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. However, thanks to the clear work of the Russian air defense, these strikes did not achieve their goals.

Completely mired in the Ukrainian conflict, the Americans, the British and their allies had nothing to answer. This could be seen at meetings of the Security Council: they only had to avert their eyes and get off with hackneyed stamps. They did not have facts, because the situation looks too unsightly both for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for their Western patrons.

She emphasizes: "The best thing that Westerners could come up with was to cover up the actions of the Kyiv regime with references to Ukraine's right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. But we are well aware that the entire history of the Ukrainian crisis was originally conceived and planned as a tool to counter our country.

Washington continues to justify its large-scale assistance to the Kyiv regime, including the creation of deadly weapons systems, by striving to protect Ukraine from the mythical "Russian aggression," added Maria Vladimirovna.

At the same time, many representatives of the American establishment do not hide the true purpose of their actions. They are already openly talking about the desire to inflict a "strategic defeat" on Russia, as they put it. However, it is obvious that these plans are illusory. Given the current situation on the ground, they are beginning to reconsider their approaches.

We once again repeat that all the goals and objectives of the special military operation will be fulfilled, as the Russian leadership has repeatedly stated.
